HYBRID wedding photography & film

One creative. One camera bag. All the magic.
Hybrid coverage is the best of both worlds—photo and video, captured seamlessly by one creative ninja (that’s Bradley). Thanks to some very clever gear and a few custom-made gadgets, he can shoot stunning photos and cinematic video without needing a full production crew trailing behind him.
If you're dreaming of a chilled-out wedding day with real, emotional coverage—without all the gear and fuss—hybrid might be the perfect fit... For bigger events and budgets, we come as a husband and wife team or with any of your chosen suppliers!
How it works
Bradley shoots on Sony A1 cameras (think: tiny tech marvels that can switch from photo to video with the flick of a switch). He’s even built his own dual-camera rig, so he can capture both formats at once when the moment calls for it, such as when you are walking down the aisle!
He uses up to four cameras, giving you:
-
Three video angles for key moments like the ceremony and speeches
-
A dedicated photo camera to snap those big moments beautifully
-
Discreet silver light stands instead of chunky tripods (so your ceremony setup still looks like you, not a film set)
-
Drone footage when the weather and location allow (hello, dreamy shots)
Unlike other hybrid shooters who swap between photo and video, Bradley is always rolling—or snapping. Nothing important gets missed.
Who it’s for
Hybrid coverage is ideal for couples who want:
-
A relaxed, candid approach
-
A low-key presence on the day
-
A few epic photos for the wall (not 1,000 for a dusty album)
-
One creative, instead of a crowd of suppliers
-
Less faff, more fun
It's perfect for smaller weddings, single-location celebrations, or couples who value film first but still want those golden photo moments—portraits, group shots, a few romantic frames to treasure forever.
A few things to know
-
If you’re both getting ready in totally separate locations at the same time, that can be tricky for one person to cover—so a little planning goes a long way.
-
For portraits, Bradley might ask you to repeat a few moments so he can shoot both photo and video—it’s fast and easy (around 15 mins).
-
There may be slightly fewer images or angles compared to having a team of two, but you'll still get plenty of variety—and the moments that matter.
-
Bradley will ask a bridesmaid or groomsman to help round people up for group shots. (He’s not bossy, promise.)
Hybrid isn’t for huge high-budget weddings with multiple locations and moving parts—but it is magic for intimate, intentional celebrations.
